Being set up to fail

Here is a question for those of us with a “Y Chromosomes “ to ask ourselves, why do our wives asks us to dress the child when they barely like what we wear and they know will not dress them to their standards. I believe that a white or grey t-shirt goes with everything but boy am I wrong. I think we are just being set up to fail, lets rebel and only dress them in grey sweats regardless of the occasion….

Welcome to our world

Hello.

The goal of this blog is to simply have a venue to shares the joys and laughs of raising a toddler. I am hoping to share some of the things he does on a day to day basis that I have not been able to find in the "What to Expect from your Toddler" books, such as using the contents of his diaper as a medium for "painting" the walls or adding an "h" to the word "sit" as you try not laugh, or spending three weekends and a good amount of money to build him the playground of his dreams (slightly smaller then Disney World Europe) only to find that he is more amused by the rocks used for the ground covering. Who knew that I could have simply but a small bag of colored fish rocks thrown them on the grass and I would have impressed him more and I wouldn't need to have my back looked at.

Thus if you want serious parenting tips or thoughtful insight, go elsewhere this is just the rants of the father in an attempt to keep everyone up to speed on how I am pretending to be the father figure and not losing the battle of control to a toddler...

Cheers,
TD
